Albert Magilton turned his head to the right on his way across Locust and observed Faulkner stop the Volkswagen.
From the crosswalk, he said, he saw the officer and another man, Billy Cook, standing between their cars. He also said he saw Abu-Jamal crossing Locust rapidly on the opposite crosswalk toward the officer and Cook, and reported seeing nothing in Abu-Jamal's hands.
Magilton then turned and continued crossing Locust. He didn't look back again until he heard gunshots. He testified that he did not see Abu-Jamal fire any shots, and he did not see Cynthia White on the corner, where she claims to have been standing.
