Word accepts unsolicited submissions. Written material is best submitted through email or on disk (but note that disks or hard copy cannot be returned). Please try to keep text submissions under 2000 words. Photos, video and audio cassettes, and other art pieces should include a stamped, self-addressed envelope if you want us to return them.

For the most part, Word does not publish fiction, poetry, "news-feature" journalism, anything dealing with celebrities, or anything focusing mainly on the Internet.

Word does publish this kind of stuff, and has also published this kind of stuff in the past. Actually, that's pretty much everything we've ever published.

Due to our very small staff, circulation of submissions can sometimes take quite a while. Please don't take our slow response as a reflection of our level of interest.
